About

From direct-to-consumer to national enterprise.

Apex Enterprise Group began as an independent e-commerce and direct-to-consumer distribution venture — a lean operation where the founder personally managed every order and built every relationship. As the business grew beyond a single operation, the founder transitioned to a board oversight and advisory role, preserving the company's founding vision while stepping back from day-to-day management.

To scale nationally, the company brought in seasoned executive leadership. Richard Vance was appointed CEO to drive nationwide expansion and oversee day-to-day operations across all divisions. Today, the group operates more than 50 regional facilities, employs approximately 3,000 people, and runs a nationwide logistics network that serves enterprise distribution, licensing, resale, and specialty food operations coast to coast.

Our structure pairs strategic autonomy at the divisional level with executive oversight at the group level — combining the agility of a founder-built venture with the reach and stability of a national holding company.
